The CH2O/CA-10 is a new version of our widespread formaldehyde sensor. With this type the cross-sensitivity to methanol has been removed. Thus, this sensor is very suitable for measurements of CH2O concentrations in applications with aqueous formaldehyde solutions like Formalin, which contains methanol as a stabilizer. Such solutions are typically used for the fixation or preservation of biological tissues and cells.
