MEMBRAPOR is increasing its sensor portfolio and introducing its first sensor to detect carbon disulfide (chemical formula: CS2). This highly toxic and explosive gas is widely used in the production of synthetic fibers and a byproduct in the oil industry. Our CS2/CF-100 sensor covers the range of current TWA values (typically around 10 ppm) and higher concentrations. A fast response time combined with a high selectivity allows the detection of CS2 in presence of other sulfuric compounds. With this new sensor, MEMBRAPOR is once more contributing to safe work places and a clean environment.
This new sensor is available also in the version CS2/PF-100.
